ACADEMIC SKILLS
ARITHMETIC
We follow the Bob Jones University (BJU) math curriculum. ​​The BJU kindergarten curriculum covers number concepts, arithmetic, and skills like time and money using manipulatives and interactive lessons.

Count by 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s to 100

Know addition and subtraction facts 0-6 families

HANDWRITING
We follow the Abeka handwriting curriculum which is a comprehensive program that integrates cursive from early levels.
By the end of this course students will be expected to:

Write consistently in appropriate upstairs, downstairs, and basement writing lines

Be working on appropriate spacing between letters and between words in a sentence
PHONICS / READING
